An Elegant Downtown Wedding with Touches of Champagne

This late summer wedding had major sophisticated elegance vibes and we are obsessed with their color palette of burgundy, champagne, olive green, and ivory. It played beautifully with the flowers — ivory hydrangeas, playa, blanca roses, and quicksand roses, antique carnations, mustard roses with accents of burgundy mums and ranunculus and natural greens. And of course, it was all captured for Luceandy and Chris by Kevin Monahan Photography.
The story behind their first dance song was one of the sweetest stories — the bride explains, they wanted to blend two cultures so they found a song by John Legend called You and I with a Kompa remix!

Luceandy’s favorite memory: “Coming together to celebrate and have fun with family was indeed an incredible experience. We also loved incorporating the not-so-traditional things like a mother/daughter dance.”
Luceandy also offers advice for other couples: “Get a wedding planner! Our wedding planner Christina was genuinely amazing! We felt she cared about us and kept us organized from start to finish. She created an itinerary for the day for the vendors and bridal party, which was so helpful. The first look is a must! We were so happy to get some pictures done before the wedding ceremony. Lastly, hire a videographer! The day went by so fast, and we were so happy to have a video to look back on.”
