Beauty Picks in Our Editors’ Shopping Carts
It’s no secret that we love shopping, but more than that we love a good skincare product. So every once in a while we sit down and intentionally peruse the web for new products (whether truly new or new to us) and decide what we’re vibing with and want to try. Well, we just did that and packed our carts with more than a few goodies, but by way of skincare and beauty we’re sharing with you some of the things we’ve checked out with.

These days I’m focused on defying the aging process. Whether it’s because of an upcoming birthday or not (I won’t admit to anything!!), or something else (totally the bday), I want to do all I can to keep a youthful glow, elasticity, and moisture in my skin. So for me it’s all about things that will aid in that, be it bone broth, collagen, apple cider, and plenty of water. And externally, I’m feeling these three products and cannot wait to give them a go.

Right now I’m all about anti-aging protection and moisturizing solutions to restore my microbiomes. I want to ensure I lock in the moisture and add to it to help bring back whatever I’ve lost over the years without the proper skincare products. What? You live and you learn, and when I was younger collagen and microbiomes weren’t necessarily something I thought to prioritize. Now, though, before I get any older, it’s all I can think about. That’s why I’m so excited to use the Chebula active serum. I remember the first time I heard Brooke Shields talk about the product and how great it was, and not enough could’ve been said about Chebula, this powerful antioxidant ingredient that was the all the rave. I wasn’t 100% a believer before, but I’m willing to give it a whirl and see if it’s worth all the hype. Now, I do have one thing in my shopping cart that’s not a skincare product, but it is a beauty product, and it makes me feel oh-so-good (I mean, seriously the color is everything) - it’s the new Ella + Milla Jelly nail polish in a bright pink that gives me total Barbiecore vibes.

With the extreme heat and humidity these days I’m just trying to keep my skin from burning or feeling too greasy. So I’m drawn to the idea of mixing my vitamin C serum with a lightweight moisturizer. And, of course sunscreen with a solid SPF of 30 or more is a necessity!
