BTW, Espresso Martinis are a Popular Choice for Weddings – Wedding Day Match

BTW, Espresso Martinis are a Popular Choice for Weddings

Just an FYI espresso martinis are the life of a party. They’re the perfect drink of choice for evening wedding receptions and parties. And if you need more convincing, celebrities are getting in on this trend, too. In fact, Joey King *just* got married and served espresso martinis at her wedding. Told ya!

What is an Espresso Martini?

If you’re wondering, then you’ve either never had one and are an espresso martini virgin (that needs to be remedied) or you’ve had one, loved it, but have no friggin’ idea what’s in it. Here goes: an espresso martini is pretty simple, it’s just a blend of freshly brewed espresso, coffee liqueur, and vodka.

Espresso Martinis at Weddings

This drink has been trending for a while now, and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. That’s why if you’re looking to have a trendy wedding, you should probably consider the delightful drink for your big day. To make the planning easier, we’re even giving you a list of ways you can incorporate the coffee goodness in your wedding.

Espresso Martini Tower

Forget a champagne tower (though, they are totally cool), you can have an espresso martini tower. Coffee lovers unite, because this tower is glamorous, Insta-worthy, and keeps you caffeinated. Hello, I don’t know about you, but I can’t rock a dance floor unless I’m highly caffeinated (I’m literally a baby Lorelei… Gilmore Girls reference btw, if you don’t know it, watch the show it’s on Netflix) and the vodka doesn’t hurt either.

Espresso Martini Dessert Bar

WTH is that?! Okay, so hear me out. I saw it on Instagram from @barspotuk (look ‘em up, they’re seriously great!). They’ve dubbed it a choc-spresso martini and I’m dubbing it chocolate with coffee with booze… basically, heaven. You’re welcome.

Espresso Martini Shots

Have these bad boys passed around on the dance floor and your guests are going to *love* you, we’re even talking about your mother-in-law. Unless she’s a tea lover and a coffee hater, then maybe don’t serve espresso martinis, just sayin’.

Espresso Martini Bar

Of course, you can just have a bar that serves espresso martinis at the cocktail hour. That’s pretty neat, too.

Espresso Martini Signature Drink

Then again, if you’re sticking with tradition, then having it as your signature drink may just be the way to go. And good for you for sticking with tradition. I’d do it myself, but I’m the least bit traditional. 😉
