Romance and Simplicity Come Together for this Modern Boho Wedding with Natural Glam Vibes

This fall wedding at Osage House in Arkansas was Danielle and Brennan’s modern boho dream and Shalae Byrd Photography captured it all.
DETAILS
With plenty of neutrals and pops of rust, it was planned to perfection. The wedding reception venue was bright and airy, creating a warm and inviting space for the guests.
FASHION + BEAUTY
Picking up the color from their palette, Danielle’s bridesmaids wore matching satin sheath dresses in rust. And for her own, the wedding dress was a modern and understated gown with a sweetheart neckline in a mermaid style. For Danielle, it was all about feeling confident and beautiful in her dress.
And as for her hair and makeup, she went for a natural glam look with her makeup and opted to wear her hair down with loose curls. “I always have my hair down, so didn’t want to change that for my wedding day.”
For their counterparts, the men donned blue suits with brown shoes and rust ties to compliment the bridesmaid dresses.
FIRST LOOKS
Danielle and Brennan shared a first look, but not before she shared one with two other important men in her life.
FAVORITE MEMORY
Danielle and Brennan shared an intimate post-ceremony moment that led to the bride’s favorite wedding day memory — time alone with her groom before the reception. “My husband and I had 30 mminutes alone together in the groom’s suite during cocktail hour to have a drink and snacks right after the ceremony. Then we had our photographer, Shalae Byrd, come take photos of us in the groom’s suite prior to our grand entrance into the reception.”
RECEPTION
With plenty of drinks and dancing, no reception is complete without excellent music and Danielle and Brennan selected songs that fit the bill for their reception entrance and first dance.
They entered their reception to Forever by Chris Brown, and shared a first dance to Dance of a Lifetime by Drake Milligan.
Oh, and if you’re curious, she walked down the aisle to the ever-popular instrumental version of “A Thousand Years” (TY Twilight !).
WITH LOVE FROM DANIELLE
Advice to other couples: “Prioritize at least a little alone time with your husband on your wedding day. The best advice I received was to be the CEO of my own wedding. Remember you are planning YOUR wedding, so do what makes you (& your S.O.) happy on your big day.”
