The Atelier Pronovias Seasons of Light 2024 Collection Inspired by the Four Seasons
This spring, as the grand finale of the Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW), Atelier Pronovias (the haute couture bridal brand of Pronovias Group) showcased the new “Seasons of Light” collection for 2024 and we have been in love with the styles ever since. So today we’re bringing you an inside look from the runway so you can see the spectacular journey the brand took attendees on — through the four seasons with inspiration from the seasons and natural elements.
The most impactful moment was when the top and international model Blanca Padilla opened the show and the ex-Victoria’s Angel Secret, Sara Sampaio, closed with a big matrioska that seemed like a flower and inside was an incredible and sexy jumpsuit with a full pearl fabric.
Alessandra Rinaudo, Artistic Director of Pronovias Group, presented the new 2024 collection, saying, “We made a deep dive into new fabrics, challenged ourselves with new techniques and constructions to craft unique modern dresses for modern brides. We want to make sure every bride has a magical experience and red carpet oriented.”
For some designs, Rinaudo went for sensual gowns with intricate hand-crafted 3D blossoms and blooming appliques enriched with Swaroski and stones, reflecting the of-the-minute floral trends adorning celebrities on red carpets worldwide. They give off major springtime vibes.
Meanwhile, in others, there’s a certain respect for the freedom of movement and spirit. Unprecedented transparencies and sexy cut-outs are combined with delicate lace and beaded embroidery for a subtle sensual elegance. This gives us some summertime vibes, or even a breezy autumn vibe.
And then there’s the designs that scream more is more, with statement gowns inspired by natural architectural shapes, dramatic volumes and striking structures — all customizable to bring out the beauty of anybody. Perhaps one could say there’s a bit of winter in those. . . .
Regardless of which design you migrate to, the “Seasons of Light” collection is full of innovation — all developed at the heart of the Pronovias R&D center in Barcelona. In particular, some of the new fabric innovations developed by Rinaudo and her team include: Italian soft micro crepe, hand-made crystal fringe cascades, pure French silk faille, exclusive hand-beaded embroidery. And if that’s not enough they also upped the ante with new pleated sewing techniques and precision 3D printing development.
