A Fairytale Wedding Complete with a Tickle Me Pink and Pink Champagne – Wedding Day Match

A Fairytale Wedding Complete with a Tickle Me Pink and Pink Champagne Flavored Cake

Faitytale Wedding Theme

A whimsical fairytale romance with a forest fairy element for Kristen and Emmanuel was a fitting wedding theme for this romantic and fun-loving couple who wed in September. And every single photo by Alex Dez Films + Photography captures and fulfills the couple’s style.

Playing to their theme, they went with a color scheme of sage and dusty rose. The florals were the ever-popular eucalyptus with baby’s breath and roses. They also kissed under romantic wisteria and used mini trees with moss and hanging lights as their centerpieces to tie in the forest theme.

They cut a cake artfully created by The Cake Lady Custom Cakes that was Tickle Me Pink and pink champagne flavored. Of course, that pairing made the cake a hit and required guests to eat no less than three slices a piece! (And for those of you who are positively curious over what the cake could possibly taste like, we looked it up and Tickle Me Pink is a sweet combo of guava, berries and apples.)

Kristen and Emmanuel agreed to no gifts, but of course a groom as sweet as Emmanuel had to pull out all the stops — besides giving Kristen a bottle of Soju, he also helped create some of Kristen’s favorite moments from the day. “I got to enjoy my husband in a way we forgot to during the planning. There was, however, a moment where we were walking out of the ceremony to a song my husband had custom-made to tell our story and he forgot an embarrassing part of it, seeing his face when he stopped to look back at his family had me once again on the floor,” Kristen remembers. She also told us she loved getting to see so much family she lost touch with and then watching people get drunk off her glitter cocktails, which, she said, “was hilarious”.

Above all, her advice to other couples planning their wedding: “You work so hard for a perfect day, but the day-of, all that goes out the window. My wedding coordinator was more stressed than me. My veil got caught in a bush while walking and I laughed my butt off, I literally needed a minute to get serious again. An out-of-town bridesmaid brought the wrong dress, [and] I was like show must go on.”
