Journey to Sicily with WONÁ Concept’s Palermo Collection
With the Summer Issue of Celebrate Weddings Magazine, you know we continued our jaunt around the world with an emphasis on Italy. It felt only fitting then that we featured WONÁ Concept’s beautiful wedding dresses from their Palermo Collection 2023. However, with 22 bridal dresses in the collection, we couldn’t let the moment pass without giving some love to the other dresses that weren’t featured on the pages of our glossy. But before we do, let us take you to Sicily — or its capital to be exact, Palermo. . . .
A millennial history, frangipani on the balconies and majestic century-old parks full of citrus orchards create the spirit of Palermo, that hides among natural amphitheatre of tropical gardens and ancient architecture. This city breathes with a mix of oriental and European cultures creating its own unique Italian mystery. This magical place is what inspired the new white line collection by WONÁ Concept that presents wedding gowns of Victorian-styled romantic and luxurious designs.
As we said, this collection consists of 22 bridal dresses, they vary from stylish modern looks made of soft satin to brilliant designs all covered with crystals. It includes 13 mermaid silhouette dresses, 6 ball gowns and 3 A-line styles. Many dresses are embellished with detachable elements such as overskirts, capes and sleeves. Apart from that, the brand has diversified the collection with the mix-and-match concept, where dresses are available with different skirts and decorations.
