WONÁ Concept Takes on Beverly Hills with a New Bridal Flagship Store
You all know WONÁ Concept, the versatile and trendy designer we all love, but did you know that they opened a second flagship store in the United States last Friday. That’s right, seven days ago, the Ukrainian bridal and eveningwear brand, opened its new shoppable showroom in Los Angeles with a sumptuous cocktail party in Beverly Hills on September 1st. The first flagship store, opened by founders Ilona and Artur Shramko can be found on Fifth Avenue in New York. And after four years at that location, it was certainly time they went for a second!
The founders hosted the grand opening by welcoming model, actor, and bride-to-be Olivia Culpo, who wore a black mini dress from their Evening collection.
Culpo was in good company, too, as bridal experts Hope LaVine, Courtney Lynn, and Sydney Westra and fashion influencers Debby Salazar, Kayla Caputo, and Jeanna Kotenko were also in attendance, among others. The guests watched the models showcase the latest Atelier collection of the brand while sipping wine, tasting wedding cakes, and listening to a soundtrack by model Paulina Shafir.
About the WONÁ Concept LA Flagship
WONÁ Concept’s LA outpost at 8600 Wilshire Boulevard was designed by architect Mariana Shylych, and offers a minimalist, Scandinavian backdrop to allow the dresses to take the spotlight. A work of Ukrainian artist Yana Litus graces one of the walls: a silhouette of a bride with touches of lace and beads embedded into plaster work.
The showroom will be open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30 AM to 6 PM. Those interested in getting the WONÁ treatment, can set up a personal appointment with one of the stylists and discuss customization services. Exciting stuff, right? Of course it is!
CATCH THE WONÁ CONCEPT FEVER
And what’s more exciting is that on the very same day as the LA opening, influencer Leonie Hanne wore a custom gown by WONÁ Concept to the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival. But the true milestone for WONÁ Concept was the Royal commission in May 2023 for the wedding of Princess Sophie of Bavaria. The brand’s team designed and crafted a custom veil for the princess, embroidered with royal symbols. Sophie's second dress in pastel blue hues was by their diffusion brand, Eva Lendel. See the WONÁ fever, it’s spreading! But we knew it would, which is why we have been obsessed with the brand for such a long time!
