A Casual and Fun Engagement Shoot at Spring Lake Beach

This August New Jersey engagement shoot at Spring Lake Beach was as sweet as could be, just as sweet as the couple. Megan & Billy, happily engaged now, first met in Uptown Towson, Maryland at Green Turtle Bar and have a special fondness for going out to eat at new restaurants and trying their food! When the time came to pop the question this summer, Billy took Megan to National Harbor in Maryland at the Potomac River on the pier. He told her to be ready at 11:30am and that she couldn’t ask any details about the day. Megan remembers, “We got in the car and headed south, had breakfast at the waterfront in DC and then headed to the next spot at National Harbor where he asked me, and had our two best friends pop out and take our pics to document the moment. We had a little photoshoot, popped champagne, got drinks on the rooftop, had a nice steak dinner and a gorgeous suite over looking the river, Ferris wheel, pier and area he proposed. It was so amazing!”

Megan & Billy are planning on marrying next September at the Hudson House in Jersey City. When we asked if she started planning and what’s been her favorite part so far, Megan told us, “EVERYTHING! It’s so fun!!!! I am an expert planner and Billy is super easy going and we have all the same taste and styles. So it has been super fun so far.” And we have a feeling it will be both fun and beautiful, and we cannot wait to see how the wedding turns out.
