FYI, This Styled Shoot is Too Hot to Handle Thanks to a Black Wedding Dress

Elegance is unspoken, it’s quiet, you don’t need to tell anyone you’re elegant because you just are and it radiates off of you. And, no, no one said that before, that’s a direct quote from me. YW! I’m feeling inspirational today, what can I say?! You’re more than welcome to use it though and quote WDM (I know you want to). Anywayyy, we have been obsessing over this modern elegance styled shoot from Captivating Occasions and have been dying to share it with you. Two incredible photographers came together from Brittany Anne Photography and A.Webb.Photography along with a fab team of vendors that would’ve made Samantha Jones from Sex and the City very proud (and we all know unless it’s too hot to handle, Samantha ain’t impressed).

Warning: You’re going to need a glass of Chardonnay (or whatever your choice of drink) and a fan because it’s about to get hot in here. ❤️‍🔥

As if we could ignore the outfit change. Both bride and groom changed their ensemble. The bride going from a classic and timeless white sleeveless dress. It was simple and understated in the sense that it didn’t have any floral appliqués, glitter, and wasn’t bejeweled; however, her look was far from simple and minimalistic because her hair and makeup told an entirely different story. It elevated the look with her brushed-to-one-side wavy hair and bold makeup. The winged liquid eyeliner look with the neutral eyeshadow palette made her eyes pop while the dark shade of pink lipstick that was chosen went perfectly with her hair color. But it was the diamond and pearl drop earrings that truly completed the look. The bride was a show-stopper in her first look. Now, for the groom, in his first outfit, he did quite the opposite, not going for simple or understated in any way, opting for a patterned suit jacket.

Buttt we all know you saw their second looks and you’re totally hooked, aren’t you? I’m obsessing over the black wedding dress (hello, we’ve been talking about colored wedding dresses *esp. black* for a while now). But this deep V, high slit, silk dress is going to be appearing in your dreams, we just know it! And don’t even get me started on the groom’s suit. There’s nothing better than a man that could rock a James Bond suit like that. (Hey, now that I think about it, they’re sort of giving serious Mr. and Mrs. Smith vibes.)
